Stuart holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture and has worked in both the private and public sectors on a variety of projects ranging from the design and construction of golf courses to facilitating public consultation meetings for a new college campus site plan. Prior to obtaining his MLA, he completed a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) at the University of Western Ontario before completing his B.A. (Hons.) in Economics at Carleton University.
Stuart has a wide range of interests involving landscape architecture but is particularly interested in recreation and park planning, the economics of sustainable design, and the hands-on execution of developing a new design. He believes that landscapes should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also functional, economical to build and most importantly, in harmony with the environment.
Stuart is fully bilingual in English and French.
