Miracle League Field

A fully accessible field that allows people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to be part of the game.

The Miracle League Field at Notre Dame des Champs Park will provide people of all ages with disabilities the opportunity to play the game of baseball (and other sports) on a purpose-built field, specially designed to reduce injuries. Fotenn was engaged to prepare conceptual and detailed design and contract documents, as well as providing services during tender and construction for the fully accessible facility. This Miracle League Field includes a poured-in-place rubber playing surface, electronic scoreboard, PA system, and custom designed dugouts, spectator bleachers and shelter and a support building complete with a canteen and accessible washrooms.

Fotenn prepared the landscape plan for the building addition under a separate contract, seamlessly integrating it into the greater context of the facility, and will also steer the completion of an accessible playground from concept to completion in Phase 2.
