Fotenn lead development approvals for Domicile’s Kavanaugh in Ottawa’s Vanier/New Edinburgh neighbourhoods. Situated within the Beechwood Avenue Community Design Plan (CDP) as well as a Design Priority Area, the Kavanaugh has made an important and positive contribution to the Beechwood corridor.
Fotenn lead the Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Control applications for the development. Fotenn also collaborated with sub-consultants to submit a complete package of technical plans and studies in support of the applications. In addition, Fotenn prepared both a Planning Rationale and Urban Design Review Panel submission. Fotenn also secured minor variances for both additional signage and a street-fronting commercial patio.
