On October 17, Fotenn participated in the 2017 Ottawa Real Estate Forum.

Miguel Tremblay, Director of Planning and Development, participated in a session moderated by Michael Polowin, Partner, Gowling WLG. The session in the main room titled: “Ottawa in the New Planning Environment and What Will It Mean: What Is the City’s Vision for Development Going Forward” provided Miguel an opportunity to respond to a range of planning policy, city building, LRT and development topics with Stephen Willis, General Manager, Planning, Infrastructure and Economic Development Department, City of Ottawa.

Ted Fobert, Partner, moderated a session titled “Are You Aware of the Scale and Volume of Development Activity in Ottawa? What Will The City Look Like in Five to Ten Years?” Participants included Bernie Ashe, Chief Executive Officer, Ottawa Sports & Entertainment Group; Mark D’eon, Senior Vice-President of Leasing, Trinity Development Group; Josh Kardish, Vice President, eQ Homes; and Jonathan Westeinde, Chief Executive Officer, Windmill Development Group. Participants reviewed key project details and discuss process, market conditions, outcomes and lessons learned for development in Ottawa.
