December 19, 2017
On December 19, 2017, Miguel Tremblay, Director of Planning and Development at Fotenn participated in the review of the 3rd year Urbanism students’ final presentations at the Carleton University Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism. The group projects looked at the redevelopment of the Coventry Road lands, a Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) area located between the Vanier Parkway and St. Laurent Boulevard along Ottawa’s Confederation Line light rail transit system. The projects contemplated new land uses and densities, built form, road alignments and transit station access, working within the City of Ottawa’s policy documents. The students’ studio work is part of a class given by Benjamin Gianni, Associate Professor and Coordinator, in the Urbanism Program at the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism.
