2019 City Building Summit

On June 12th, 2019, Miguel Tremblay, Partner attended the first City-Building Summit, hosted by the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Board of Trade. The 2-day conference was held in Lansdowne’s Horticulture Building, City of Ottawa. Along with Jeff Westeinde, Principal at Zibi and former Co-Chair of Invest Ottawa, Miguel participated in a panel discussion session titled “Ottawa’s Planning Future”, moderated by Jan Harder, Barrhaven Councillor and Chair of Planning Committee. The panel discussed issues related to intensification and transit, multi-modal transportation, and municipal process and public consultation. Other presenters included Ottawa, Mayor Jim Watson, Tobi Nussbaum, CEO, National Capital Commission (NCC) and Stephen Willis, General Manager, City of Ottawa Planning and Growth Management.
