CIP-Alberta Association — Award of Excellence 2006

 

The Alberta Association of the Canadian Institute of Planners presented FoTenn Consultants Inc. with the 2006 Award of Excellence for their work on the Plateau: Sustainable Arctic Development project. This important award recognizes exemplary planning and acknowledges meritorious plans and projects that significantly contribute to the livability of communities in Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

EDRA Award for FoTenn

 

FoTenn Consultants — together with Office for Urbanism, Laird and Associates, and the City of Iqaluit — won the 2005 EDRA (Environmental Design Research Association) Place Planning Award for the Core Area and Capital District Plan for the City of Iqaluit.

The prestigious international award recognizes projects that contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between people, their natural surroundings and where they live. This is the first time a project in Canada has been recognized by EDRA.


The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects — Regional Honour

 

In the Spring of 2003 The Canadian Society of Landscape Architects conferred honour upon du Toit Allsopp Hillier, in collaboration with FoTenn Consultants Inc., for outstanding achievement in the profession of landscape architecture for their work on the Regina RCMP Academy Site Development Plan.

 

 

OPPI — 1997 Excellence in Planning Award

 
In recognition of their work on the West Carleton Growth Management Strategy FoTenn Consultants, Spencer & Co. and the Township of West-Carleton received the 1997 Excellence in Planning Award under the New Directions Category. The Growth Strategy won an early initiative for extensive and creative public consultation.

 

FoTenn is also the recipient of many community awards and is recognized for its
generous support of the arts, culture and social programs of the City of Ottawa.
